Life Cycle Assessment is an overall assessment of the building's overall climate impact, which will be part of the EU proposal for Building Regulations in 2023 for all new buildings. An LCA calculation mainly contains the CO2 emissions for the building's materials and for the energy consumption during operation. The BIM project contains most of the data that forms the basis for these calculations, and is therefore obvious for estimating the LCA calculation from the early stages of the project, so that you know whether you can comply with the future limit values ββin the Building Regulations. GRAPHISOFT Denmark has developed a tool that reduces the CO2 load for both the building's materials and for the energy consumption during operation, and adds an estimate of the emissions during construction.
